a Philadelphia photographer who has had the privilege of documenting over 100 weddings, family portraits, engagement sessions, proposals and headshots in the last decade.

My portfolio shows the wide range of weddings I've had the pleasure of shooting. In my time as a wedding photographer, I've found myself at 250-guest black tie weddings at big city venues and country clubs, DIY dream weddings at summer camps, in city halls, backyards, college campuses, under highway overpasses, restaurants, boats, in Vermont, the Jersey Shore, New York City, Philadelphia and throughout the Northeast.  Every wedding is different, but the common theme is what makes it so special - that is, this is one of the best days of your life. To be able to play a small role through documenting the day is a huge privilege, and lets me dial in to what I love about photography so much - telling stories.

My approach is hands off, eyes on. I am there to document your day, not control it. Relying on my past wedding experience as well as collaboration with my clients and meticulous planning, the wedding photography experience should be seamless, straightforward and stress free. Proficiently utilizing multiple formats of digital and film photography allows me to iterate on a dime and select the format, camera and lens that best speaks to a given moment throughout the course of the day.

I've been lucky to have had many repeat clients, and photographing the evolution of a family, from engagement and wedding photos, to baby and family portraits over the course of years is a truly incredible gift to get to document as a photographer. As a married person and parent of two myself, I employ this approach in my own creative practice, and have honed my craft documenting my own children’s lives. To tell the story of a family is to tell the story of the passage of time, and I’m honored to be trusted with capturing these pivotal, important moments.

I graduated from Moravian University (Bethlehem, PA) in 2008 with a BA in Photojournalism, and have been actively developing my photography skills and aesthetic over the last 20 years.

When I’m not working you can find me on photo walks around Northwest Philly, making pizza at home and spending time with my wife, Julia and two kids, June and Rory.

My allyship to my LGBTQIA+ family, friends and clients is unwavering.
